1. Consent: When you register with our Practice, our live operator will verbally ask for your consent to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) to your mobile number. You can simply say “yes” or “no” to opt-in or opt-out. You will receive a confirmation text message where you must again choose to opt-in or opt-out. You can change your mind and opt-out at any time.

2. Program description: When opted-in, you will receive appointment reminder/confirmation text messages (SMS/MMS) to your mobile number. 

3. Program frequency: Message frequency will vary depending on the number of appointments you have with us.

4. Opt-in: You will receive an opt-in text for this service when you sign-up as a patient with our medical practice. Simply reply “START” to confirm that you want to receive SMS messages from us.

5. Opt-out: You can opt-out of this service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the phone number. After you text “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS reply to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time or text “START,” and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
