The BPH Treatment Men Are Researching
Demand is real
Many men with BPH refuse surgery because of the sexual side effects. Prostate artery embolization treats BPH without them — an option your patients are already researching on their own.
The medicine is proven
Embolization is evidence-backed, low-risk, and effective — a true alternative for men who want symptom relief without surgery.

Minimally Invasive, Low Risk, Outpatient Procedure
The Modern PAE
Learn about our unique technique
Technique
A small catheter is inserted into an artery, which is then advanced under fluoroscopic guidance to the prostate, where target embolization is performed
Pre-Op
Little to no preoperative workup is required for PAE, making it a very accessible treatment option
Post-Op
A small bandage is placed over the access site and the patient is monitored in a recovery bay for a short period before discharge
Recovery & Follow-Up
Routine recovery is handled at home with well established instructions and the performing IR physician follows up with the patient
We're Here to Help
Our first priority is to help our partners find the best solutions for their specific needs.
How does pricing work?
Embolix charges a simple flat daily rate to use the procedure suite, which includes all the costs for cases that day (our management, the staff, the disposables, equipment, etc).
Only the IR physician is paid separately by your medical practice.
Is there a startup fee?
We don’t charge upfront fees. We try to align our incentives with our partners. We only charge when the procedure space is used.
Is there a commitment?
We understand that starting a new procedure comes with uncertainty. If your practice decides to stop offering this at any time, you simply stop doing cases and there are no further charges from us.
How is the partnership structured?
Your practice is simply expanding your services to include this new procedure under your facility. Your patients are treated by an IR doc that does the procedure as if they're a doc in your practice (billed by your practice).
The IR doc, procedure suite, integration, clinical supervision are all handled by Embolix as outlined above.
